PTO Blackout Days

The PTO blackout feature empowers you to carefully control when employees can take leave and ensures that your business remains well-staffed during the busiest periods.

Here’s how it works:

• Customize the look of your PTO blackout days by picking a vibrant color for them via Logo & Color Settings – this way, everyone can spot those crucial dates without a hitch.
• Go to the Leave Types interface to indicate which types of leave must be blocked during PTO blackout periods.
• Grant certain users the right to request time off during PTO blackout periods via the Access to Schedules Management interface.
• Set, edit, and review your blackout dates in the Corporate Calendar and Leave Scheduling interface.
• Use iCal integration to export your PTO blackout days to third-party calendars and check on them without even opening your actiPLANS account.

Biweekly PTO Accrual

We’re excited to announce a fantastic new feature that allows you to manage paid time off (PTO) accruals on a biweekly basis.

Here’s how it works:

• Pick the biweekly accrual mode in general PTO and Sick Leave settings and choose a preferable accrual date.
• After that, actiPLANS will automatically calculate and update your team members’ PTO balances based on the established rules.
• Additionally, you can set an individual PTO accrual period and date for each employee via User Settings.

Redesigned General Settings

We updated the General Settings interface to make your user experience more engaging and streamlined than ever before:
